Medicine Walk
Medicine Walk to learn about the medicinal properties of local flora.
Come join us for a medicine walk with Helena Perry. We will learn about the fascinating and healing plants that grace the DeRoche Pond Natural Area. We will also learn about the importance of these plants to the Mi'kmaq whose territory we reside upon.
Please wear appropriate footwear. Be prepared to walk about 4-6km on uneven terrain. Feel free to bring a notebook and a headlamp should it get dark while we are out. Event location details will be emailed to registered participants prior to event.
